policies, projects, schemes that have been introduced for this purpose. Stree
shakthi package, Annapurna scheme, mudra yogana, loans provided by Bharthiya

INTRODUCTION
Economic
development is possible only with the help of planned and unrelenting business
activities. Entrepreneurs are the human agency at the back of such activities.
Entrepreneurship is the skill or quality of such human resource, which is
snatching opportunities and organizing endeavor for their commercial
exploitation. They initiate changes to do ventures in a better way, to get more
return from them or to impart more satisfaction to the consumers. Entrepreneurs
bring together the productive resources and act as a catalytic agent in the
process of economic development. Economic growth of any nation has been
attained through the commercial exploitation of inventions by utilizing its
available resources-both physical and human, especially those that are not
utilized so far. Entrepreneurship is the skill and ability, which initiate
innovations and undertake the risk. ‘Invention’ is to find out something new
that does not exist so far. ‘Innovation’ on the other hand is the commercial
exploitation of inventions. Developing countries have the history of commercial
exploitation of inventions. Industrially and economically developed nations
have attained their positions not simply with their resources but also with the
support of sufficient and efficient innovative entrepreneurs.

CONCLUSION
By doing this project on “Attitude of Graduating
girls in coastal areas towards entrepreneurship”, I could draw major
assumptions and conclusion on the attitude of girls towards entrepreneurship.
Women empowerment is an important factor that could faster the nation’s economy
growth, as it can make a major impact on per capita ratio. It can also bring
much kind of developments and can improve the standard of living in the nation.
The main problem with women not stepping out to be an entrepreneur is because
of lack of awareness on entrepreneur. They often think it as a man’s job to an
entrepreneur. That’s because their insufficient knowledge and awareness on
entrepreneurship. Even if they have awareness on entrepreneurship most of them
lack support and confidence. There should be sufficient measures and
initiatives to build awareness on entrepreneurship and make them capable of
being an entrepreneur.
